Mike Ribble was once a great trapeze artist - and the only to have completed a triple somersault - before his accident. Tino joins the circus, and manages to covince Mike to teach him the 'triple'. Meanwhile Lola, a tumbler, wants to get in on the act. Her presence creates friction between the two men and puts in doubt whether Tino will ever accomplish the elusive triple. 悬在空中的人生。观赏性就值五星，兰卡斯特回归老本行，除triple外所有杂技动作亲力亲为，非常好看。三位主演极其合拍，尤其是兰卡斯特和柯蒂斯间火花四溅。三主角间暧昧关系值得玩味，分分合合，戏剧十足的对峙持续到最后一刻，正如空中飞人表演般让人全程悬着心

看开头以为是温情励志剧我真是大错特错……Mike→Tino→Lola→Mike的循环三角相当萌，只是剧情简直把女主塑造成反派洗都洗不回来是不是有点玩脱，imdb上都有两个帖子把她当做破坏两男主感情的小三声讨了orz

爱真是害人的东西啊。。真抓人，最后一刻我也紧张死了。。三角恋最纠结了，随心选择吧。。老片子，男主的眼睛都像一汪湖，凝视女主的时候简直要把她吸进去，蛮奇妙的。现在看不到一汪湖了，即使有也似后期处理的。

原来伯特兰卡斯特本来就是马戏团出身，此片也算是其本色出演了。本片里三个人物之间的关系扑朔迷离张力十足，但是结尾有点让人捉摸不透~

各类人物都有特色，侏儒、蟒蛇、马技、火圈、小丑等经典马戏团元素；倒立谈话，街边杂耍；三角关系的对峙，女主的转变；

吊诡的音乐配得甚好，一直以来都get不到GinaLollobrigida的美---人妖既视感。

主角的存在是为了阻止他们相爱。特兰卡斯特本飞人技术了得柯蒂斯太受。

所有以马戏团为题材的电影，剧情都好夸张。四位演员都要赞一下。

在没有成为演员之前，BurtLancaster就是个玩杂耍的
